A boy was keenly listening to the speeches of famous national leaders and his patriotism grew up to an extent that he liked to free his country from the hands of the British.

In the 1920s, in India, the spark for freedom that was ignited by some of our patriotic citizens was again kindled by our current patriotic national citizens.

The British saw it as a threat because the national leader's speech reached the young people also along with others.

They saw it as a threat and started arresting the people and tortured them in the cell with no proper light and clean restrooms.

This affected the people both physically but not much mentally due to the speeches of nationwide leaders.

This boy Kumaran took it a responsibility to fight and protest in an ahimsa manner to get the freedom our nation wanted in the Tiruppur district of Tamilnadu.

After some years, Kumaran started Desa Bandhu Youth Association and continued his protests against the British.

Kumaran had a meeting with his friends to have a protest against the British with the banned national flag and slogans against the British.

In 1932, on January 11 along the noyyal river road, they started the protest march by saying Bharat matha ki Jai.

They also held the banned tricolor national flag flying with the breath of thousands of freedom fighters.

The British police angered with this came to the road and warned them to stop the protest.

But they continued and the police started attacking them with the lathi and many of them got injured and all shouted Kumara.

Because the police said them to drop the flag but he did not and the police started beating him and even with the blood dropping, he did not put down the flag and police heated him till his last breath.

But Kumaran was determined not to put down the flag and he did it.

His friends cried shouting kumara, kumara.

He got the name Kumaran, the protector of the flag.

His sacrifice says an important lesson

Fight for the country and be determined in some of your good dreams.

We salute you Kumaran for the sacrifice you did and the great lessons you taught.

Bharat matha ki Jai.
