Last Wish

*HIS/HER LAST WISH*

Being in a long-distance relationship was really tough for both of them, a handful of meetings, time differences, work load and situations took the lead and interactions were possible only on weekends. It was tough time for both of them, but they survived everytime, as there love was strong, they passed every test of love, one being long distance itself. Despite having problems, they some how managed to make time for each other, and conquered each step of love like a pro, though they like other couples had fights, but their love wasn't wanting to take a step back, so they continued everyday with same zeal and desire.

Everything was going fine, until one day, he felt something wasn't good with him, he couldn't breathe properly and as a result was hospitalized and it was detected that he has stage 3 cancer. Everyone around him were shocked, and so was he, he had her in his mind, how will she survive, how will she react and others.

Days passed by, he didn't let her know by any chance about the same, until one day he stopped texting her and blocked her, cancer reached to the last stage, she being worried called all his friends but had to give up, she decided to fly and look into the matter, but work load covered up everything.

On the other hand, he was lying on the hospital bed, wishing to see her smile in his last breathes, that smile always had power to solve many problems, and one last time that smile will solve all his problems of life and then he could successfully depart from this world. He had entire day and was waiting, he never winked eyes and removed them from the door, thinking he could get one last hug as *his last wish* , but destiny wasn't in his favor, as he already lived last moments with eyes still on the door, and she was 2 minutes late. She couldn't believe her eyes and couldn't accept the fact that he is no more and cursed herself for his death.

Last wish, last moment, last time, last sight and last smile didn't last for long and his last wish remained unfulfilled.
