Lockdown Day 15

Today is the fifteenth day of the lockdown against Covid-19. Countrymen are taking all the precautionary measures to arrest the spread of the pandemic. Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, Police and all the administrative officials are busy on finding escape routes to steer the country clear of the pandemic.

The large workforce in the form of municipal workers responsible for cleaning the cities, medical stores, grocery stores, nurses, doctors, milk & vegetable vendors are helping us keep the body and soul together in this hour of crisis. Hats off to them as they could have also opted to hide inside their houses, fearing catching the deadly infection.

Country is celebrating Hanuman Jayanti today. Though all the temples are closed, for the time being, people are praying inside their houses, reaching to the God inside their hearts. We pray to Lord Hanuman, to help mankind invent the vaccine for the Coronavirus at the earliest possible like Hanuman had brought the Sanjeevani to give new life to Lakshman.

While the United States and the European countries are still struggling to contain the spread of the virus, it is slowly spreading in India. Many states are contemplating increasing the lockdown period. Only God can tell what is in store for our dear country in the coming days. Hope God will be kind as always.

At present most of us are hiding inside our house as if we are fugitives on the run. A fugitive has to always be on the run/hiding to escape his captor. At present we all are fugitives of mother Nature due to our excesses in exploiting nature and are hiding from nature's dreaded Cop Corona. Hopefully, once mother Nature accepts our penance of house arrest, vindicates us and sets us free, we will be again able to enjoy the beautiful life that till now we had taken for granted.
