Ishika is a victim of Rayalaseema factionalism, which was dominant from the periods of 1967-2003. Ishika’s father, Rajarathnam Gounder was a Civil engineer in one of the MNC companies in Rayalaseema city. Ishika’s mother Suhasini Naidu is a part of factionalism family near Kadapa region. She works as an architect in Rayalaseema and their marriage was a love marriage after managing to convince the Naidu families.

Ishika’s mother Suhasini Naidu’s father Rathnawamy Naidu has sent her away from his factionalism issues, so that she can be peaceful and shortly after a gap of seventeen years, Ishika’s parents lands in Kadapa due to Ishika’s demand to see her grandfather and while going, Rathnawamy’s rival, Chandralingam Naidu arrives with his henchman and he brutally kills the entire family including Ishika’s parents, being the victim.

In fear, Ishika runs away from the village and has landed in Chennai where, she seeks her friend Kamali’s help. Her parents helped her to enroll in PSG arts and science of Coimbatore and she decides to forgot her past so that, she may be happier in her upcoming days.

Ishika told us about this only after understanding our true and caring nature for her and all her personal details are known to us. Rather than me, it was Akhil who was caring and doting to Ishika.

I saw Ishika as my sister and Akhil was waiting to surprise Ishika by proposing his love to her. In fact, they had made an agreement that they will fall in love once realizing the good and bad of each other. Eventually, they both fell in love and I was happier that, Akhil has again got back his happiness, which was absent in him since, my parent’s death.

However, I was happy because, Akhil was with me even when my parents were dead and I am bold because of Akhil. In my point of view, Akhil will never make anyone to cry and wishes to make them happier, even when he is not happy. That’s why he still stands to be good for all.

While so many of my friends were just a bully, it was only Akhil who supported me at every point of time. Our college career comes to end and we got gold medal for our course and NCC. Everyone of my friends were guilty and sad that, they missed me and Akhil (Especially).

Though Ishika would be with us, she is sad that Akhil will not speak with her and looked at him as such, she misses him throughout her life. I and Akhil appeared for UPSC IPS exams and the years went like an Airplane. We don’t know how we came and don’t know, what happened on the 2 years in IPS training near Dehradun.

It is in the training, where we had learnt so many lessons. Entering into the IPS field is easier, but standing in the field of IPS is very difficult. Because, we make so many rivals in our life including our senior IPS officers and politicians, who will not like our honesty. In the training, we learnt the swimming, shooting so many other self-defense martial arts and we were also mentally trained.

However, the periods of 2 years were a very harsh times for us. Since, we have to face a tough challenges from North Indians and Kerala guys, who seemed to be arrogant and merciless in their attitude. For one years, we faced a comic situation because, we were not fluent in Hindi though we managed to speak Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu to our fellow state mates. We learned the other South Indian languages by watching movies, through which we learned various words, that we use in Tamil during the communication.

We were praying to the god that, we have to get posting in Tamil Nadu and not to get posted in any other states. However, due to circumstances, we were posted as the ASP of Bangalore for two years, under teammates, where we have to face various struggles from our senior police officers, who all just uses us as a mere assets to do their encounter operations.

We were really fed up with our IPS job on those days and felt like to resign our job. It was that much stress to us on those days. Because, we have to solve various disputes of mafia leaders, drug trafficking and human trafficking which really makes us upset on those days.

In order to have a change, we got a transfer to Coimbatore district in order to meet Ishika and also that, Akhil may get a relief from his job after meeting Ishika. In Coimbatore, we doesn’t have much works to go on, except to monitor the city circles and other works into the city. Hence, Akhil spent so many memorable moments with Ishika.

However, when we got much more stress to focus on our duty, Akhil avoided Ishika and was unable to spend his enough time with her, thus leaving her worried. Meanwhile, Ishika is followed by Kavin, the son of Inspector Selvam.

He is a wayward youth and irresponsible guy, who was changed by Ishika as a good and responsible guy. However, Ishika did it out of friendship and not in love with Kavin. He misunderstood it as love and starts to love her one-sided unknown that she loves Akhil.

Since, Akhil doesn’t have time to spend time with Ishika, he doesn’t know the troubles that Ishika had gone. Later on, Kavin learns about Ishika’s engagement by herself, through her invitation and is heartbroken.

In further, Kavin is anger and swears to take revenge against Ishika besides being consoled by his close friend, who tells that “Love cannot be shown, it can only be felt.” However, Kavin is not convinced and tells to him that, “If he loved anyone, he might realize the pain that he had undergone.”
