"Some family trees bear an enormous crop of nuts.” ~Wayne Huizenga.

One in my family is my younger brother DD. As a toddler, he stayed awake till late in the night and didn't let others sleep with his illogical questions. At the time of his maiden train journey, Mom warned him saying tiger will come if he doesn’t sleep to get rid of his queries. Middle of night DD started howling “Tiger - tiger, I'm telling the truth tiger has come!!" It took split seconds to comprehend the tiger he was referring to was our father snoring on the upper berth.

On one occasion a girl in his class came to Mom with a complaint, she had proclaimed she had a beautiful long nose. DD’s response baffled her “Oh! That’s your nose? I thought you were eating a banana”. At one time in a school project, he had to tick the odd one among an elephant, a car and a dog. He chose 'dog', while the correct answer was the nonliving thing car. His reasoning dog doesn’t have a trunk.

Another unforgettable incident, DD had joined swimming classes and begged to be excused to keep eyes open while swimming. The absurd logic, “If I keep my eyes open and lose my eyeballs in water, how am I going to find them?’’ Once he was late to school on the teacher’s interrogation he replied: “My father drinks and drives hence I walked to school and got late”. Father was summoned and his fault was he used to drink tea with breakfast in the morning.
