My Quarantine Diary ( Day 7 )

Day 7

Dear Diary,

No! I don’t want the weekend to be over!! Mondays should really be illegal! But thankfully it’s a long weekend. Tomorrow is an Easter holiday here in Brussels. It’s finally a week of my lockdown. Did I forget him? My answer is a strong ‘No’.

Today I uploaded my dance video to my youtube channel and It’s based on the latest trending Bollywood song. At least I did something productive amidst all the negativities. My flatmates really helped me to shoot the song. I must say that I am very blessed to have them. 

He did not try to call me or text me further. Hope tomorrow, he will see this newly uploaded episode and he will call me tomorrow. Poor me! Still, I am expecting something that is never going to happen. Power of my subconscious mind.

I didn’t dream of the world, either of being a princess nor being number one. All I wanted to be his world, to be a part of his happiness. I wanted to have a simple life.

He was happy too with my imperfection. He never complained about my messy hair, my pimple prone face. He always used to tell that your imperfections make you a diva, you are an inspiration to many youths. Last time when I performed in the Diwali festival here at Atomium in front of 15 thousand people, I was so nervous after my first performance and then I regained my confidence after getting his text “ I am proud of you baby”. 

Yesterday when I was sleeping, I had a dream. Through that window, he came to propose to me. 

Feeling sleepy! Hope to see him in the dream again...Off to bed now!!!
