Raj And Team

Raj is travelling to his office and on the way he sees kids selling flowers and other things like raw mangoes etc.

The kids are small within the age of 12 and they are many in number, some are selling flowers, pens, stickers, handkerchiefs and many other things. Some people are buying them as well, Raj thinks about how difficult it is for their parents to send their kids for selling these things onto road instead of school.

His office was a little far from the city and hence he had to cross this village everyday, this was the sight everyday as well. Raj couldn't do anything except thinking.

On Thursday, Raj's bus got punctured and he informed his colleagues to tell that he would be late for office today.

After some time he saw a man in his front seat getting frustrated and then a kid comes towards him and asks him to buy a flower as he is hungry from many days and needs money, man gets angry and starts shouting at the kid, Raj gets up and goes to see what's the matter and found that the man is outpouring his anger on that innocent kid, the kid was crying. Raj went down and took the kid to a small tea shop and bought him biscuits and cake. The kid was happy. Raj asked him about his house and school and got to know that the village doesn't have any school and their parents are labourers, they don't have money to afford school and hence are forced to work.

Raj reaches his office and talks about this with his colleagues and tells "We must do something about this", his colleagues wonder how can they help and then Sushma a colleague of his tells "We can try teaching those kids after our office hours", everybody seemed to like the idea and they said they would come together as a team and teach subjects they are good at and also conduct some other classes on Sundays and Saturdays. Raj was very happy and knew that this team would change the lives of those kids.

Every day after office Raj and his team would go to the village and teach those kids...Raj knew one day those kids would change the world, after few years Raj and his team were able to build 5 to 6 schools and also give them the best education and certificate as well.

After few years, some of the kids who were taught by Raj and his team turned out be police, doctor and engineers but they always returned to the village to help other needy kids like them.
