I guess I forgot to keep an alarm last night, because when I woke up, it was nearly half past twelve. My eyes didn't open suddenly like it usually happens when you see a nightmare. I woke up with a warm feeling under my toes. For detailed description, it was something warm and rough. It gave me a funny feeling that I couldn't resist seeing what it was. When I opened my eyes and tried to reach my legs, I saw something green. I pulled up my legs and grabbed my spectacles. As I got a clearer vision, I noticed that there were two eyes, four legs and a uvula ( the that hangs in our mouth at the beginning of the throat ) on his head. It stuck its tongue out and started coming towards me.

It felt as if two abductors were coming to grab hold of you. I got so scared that I pushed him down. Poor thing fell so hard on his arm that he couldn't stand properly. I felt so sorry for it that a picked him up and searched for his favourite spot. Every animal has a favourite spot that when rubbed, makes them feel comfortable and safe. I guess the uvula on his head was his favourite spot because when I rubbed it, he started purring. After dressing his partially broken arm, I offered him candy.

Sweets usually make me happy. I thought, maybe sharing a bit of my happiness with someone else would only do good. He sniffed it and ate it happily. He was starting to stupefy because of his arm so, I decided to entertain him by blowing bubbles. He enjoyed the way they made a popping sound.

But soon things began to change. Suddenly, the green creature popped like a bubble, but there was no bloodshed. The table popped followed by the chair and the bed. I was frightened. The next moment I realised that I was sitting upright on the bed with the alarm ringing right beside me.
