Madhumita hates studying, she always wants to play, the whole day.

She and her sister play and never like to do their homework.

Madhumita's mother always tells her the value of education but she never understands, she didn't ever understand what her mother wanted to tell her.


Her grandma was a principal at a school, she had a bookshelf in her study room and it was Madhumita's favourite place to hide but she never liked the books on the bookshelves, her grandma always used to hand her story books to read but she never read one.One day when nobody was home Madhumita was playing in her grandma's stuyd room and she unknowingly locked herself and couldn't open the lock at all, her parents amd grandparents were at work, she tried tonunclocj the door but it didn't work, she cried and shouted but nobody could hear her, she sat hungry.


She was thirsty now and wanted to drink water, she saw a bottle but with some mud in it, she didn't know why was the water kept there but she couldn't drink as it was having mud.She remembered her grandma had once told her"Books have all the solutions you need!", Madhumita went near the bookshelf took a book which had information about water and she learnt that boiling water cleans the water and purified it, she saw a induction and tried to boil the water on her own and after cooling it she drank the water.


She waited for her parents but they hadn't come yet, she tried many a times to unlock the door using screw, hammer but nothing worked, she then again remembered her grandma's words and now took a book which had information about door and locks, she learnt to unlock the door using a hairpin and finally, she succeeded in doing so.


She was happy to be out and her parents saw her tired and she told them about all that had happened. Madhumita now loves books as she knows it enhances her knowledge and they have a solution to all world problems.
