The Dark Soul

It was the new year bash 2021,

Karthick, Shwetha, Mahesh, Pavithra were close friends. They planned for trekking. But since there was a series of death, in the BBB forest the trekking was banned. So they decided to celebrate the weekend in the nearby Hotel to the BBB forest. There was a DJ party. The office staffs, families, were present, the music was at the pitch, and the party was rocking. It was an open garden, and the large swimming pool was in the middle. The unlimited drinks got served, everyone was enjoining the night mood. Though all four of them were from millennium, they differed a lot. Karthick was modern in the way he presents. Mahesh was a nerd, but with a broad mind.

Shwetha was an atheist but down to earth girl. Pavithra was a devotee of God. Party was at its best suddenly bolt struck. There was buzz noise, all over the place, the lights went off. The swimming pool filled with blood dead bodies floated on it. The area got covered with algae and the smell of decay with fresh blood defined the scene. The four friends got lost in hell. They ran into the Hotel, to seek help, everyone was dead, they were motionless.

A pen got pierced in the receptionist's head, and the eyeballs got bulged out. The waiter, the room boy, all dead some got stabbed with the kitchen knife, others put their head, in the waste shredders.

No one got spared, they were terrified, Shwetha got into the receptionist desk, and she started dialing.

Shwetha: Hello, Hello is it 911

Otherside: creek---creek

Nothing was working.

Mahesh: let us try with my cell phone as it was the best 4G network.

Karthick: let me as well try as mine is all over India.

Pavithra: Om Namo Shivaya, please god save us!

None of the networks worked, they decided to burn something and generate a false fire alarm, they ran into the kitchen and pulled up the gaslighter.

Karthick: you could have asked me for the lighter.

Shwetha and Pavitra lit some clothes, and they showed it toward the fire alarm.

The alarm worked, finally, they got hope, but the water didn't sprinkle, instead, a black soul descended towards them.

Her eyes were white, and she wore a mask, around her mouth.

She scented like hell, her legs out of the bird, her ears out of the wolf, her skin out of tiger, her mouth out of the snake, her cheeks out of rocks, her hair out of algae, and alive fishes, as accessories. She stood in front by bleeding in the black. They got petrified on encountering her. She was coughing, with a pale voice.

Dark Soul: You are the chosen one. I will appear whenever there is a hindrance, to my kids. I have been patient, to the selfish and greedy of your kind. Ensure your life counts, and it gets reciprocated. I am the devil, for one, who hurts my family. Your kind, is one of my kids, as a mother I will raise my voice. I will appear to gain their trust and break their overconfidence, spread my words your life gets spared.

Karthick: Who are you?

The Dark Soul: I am the nature; see what your kind has done to me.

Pavithra: But, you could have spread the thought, without killing others.

Dark Soul: My child, not all are as innocent as you.

The people met death, performed sin upon life in some way.

For me, all life is the same, as my clock ticks for everyone.

I have warned but forgiving doesn’t help as people take me for granted, the guilt realized from the heart is accepted, as a crime doesn’t get repeated.

Mahesh shot the entire things in his mobile.

Shwetha: who are your kids?

Dark Soul: Can’t you see?

The hotel is built on the forest, how many species got destroyed.

The elephants, tigers, got hunted, they get killed by electrifying fences.

The birds lost their track and got affected by the mobile towers.

My kid's food chain got affected, do you remember the star of the Transformer movie?

Karthick: Ya Optimus Prime!,

Pavithra: No Bumble Bee

Dark Soul: Where he got his name ? can he survive after a decade?

Shwetha: But it’s part of evolution, even if we don’t do or buy, we will be forced to buy.

Dark Soul: Why is it because of my forgiveness?

Comfort not important. I have created your species to save my world, and not to destroy it. Find comfort while loving your fellow species, and not in their grave. I can’t destroy my world for the sake of your comfort. A comfort-seeking species is like cancer to my creation. I would rather destroy cancer before it spreads to all of my organs. Till now you have seen the love, affection, beautiful side of me. The concrete forest, monoxide inhalation, and fashion have changed my complexion. A mother can shove love, as well as fear. Let me show the fear who opposes my words. This fear is not for the frightening, the kids. It’s a warning, she mentions and disappears in the air.

All the lights come back.

Karthick: Calls the police and Ambulance and informs about the massacre. He uploads the video into the U tube.

Suddenly the time reverses, everything rewinds as the four of them remains as a spectator.

It was the current time at 11: PM Dec 2018 but the year which they were celebrating 2020.

The hotel staff, customers and all becomes alive, the clock ticks in 2018.

Some believed the video and took the content, but others claimed it as a prank.

People who believed, the video planted more trees. They stopped building luxury hotels and Ashrams. They started using carpooling and public transports. People changed their nature and survived nature. Corruption got reduced with a simple lifestyle. A lot of design initiatives made and a world with a better ecosystem survived.

The darkness got spread with the lightning for the people who didn’t get changed after seeing the video, as a persist warning during the time left for 2021.

All life lived in harmony. The Dark and White are the same. Hell and Heaven are the same. God and Human are the same. It’s how we view and nurture them.
