The Great Friends

Set in the Osmania University of Andhra Pradesh, a new batch of students enters where Varshini Reddy also comes for pursuing her higher studies. She was sent by her father Veera Mahendra to be safeguarded from his nemesis.

While his family was heading to Osmania for a visit, her maternal uncle Rajan and her brother gets killed mysteriously by two professional assassins. Later, Mithran, a guy from Pollachi in Tamilnadu joins Osmania university and he is befriended by Varshini.

He safeguards her and also done many humanitarian works after he joined the college. Reddy learns about the love of Mithran and Varshini and arranges a grand function to invite him. While he lands in Rajamundry, the assassinators arrive there to kill Veera Reddy.

Varshini requests Mithran to run away but, he joins hand with the assassins and brutally decapitates Veera Reddy's brother Mohana Reddy. Shocked, Varshini tries to escape the place but, the group kidnaps her.

The persons are Captain Ashwin Karthick and Captain Arul Kumaran. They are close friends of Mithran, whose real name is Major Vikram Kumar. They comes for a vacation to their hometown Pollachi, where they are warmly welcomed by Janani, her parent, Vikram's parent and Ashwin's parent.

Janani and Ashwin are close friends of Vikram since childhood and they (Ashwin) also love each other sincerely. Their marriage is also fixed soon and they gets married soon. Vikram was in love with Shruthi, a neurobiologist.

They were all happy and enjoying until Veera's brother Mahendra comes. He is a womanizer and when he attempted to rape Shruthi, Vikram chops off his hands and humiliates him publicly. Later, Vikram gets Mahendra arrested by the police for his misbehaviour.

But, Using his political influence, Mahendra comes out and kills the entire family of Vikram and including Shruthi. However, he manages to take Shwetha and Ashwin to the safest place though her parents got killed.

Shattered by their family's death, Vikram decides to bring Mahendra's entire family to Justice. Hearing this, Varshini supports him and also accuses her father for supporting his brother's all atrocious activities and asks Veera to surrender himself to the police.

Veera surrenders to the police as a result of opposition from his own family members. He is sentenced for 2 years imprisonment. Later, Vikram marries Varshini and Ashwin, Arul joins with Vikram to go for Ladakh implying that they are ready to continue their duty in the Indian Army while Ashwin's child smiles and salutes at him.
