The Haunted House

This is a horror story comprising of paranormal activity about a Haunted house. The location of this horror ghost story is the picturesque "Queen of the hill stations" Ooty. Ooty is situated at an altitude of 2240 metres above sea level and enjoys pleasant weather the whole year.

There is a house in Ooty named Woods Villa. It belonged to Mr. Joseph Woods and his wife Suzanne. Now both are deceased and the house is taken care by an old caretaker who lives there with his wife. The Woods had a son Robert who lives in Mumbai and visits Ooty occassionally. He is trying to sell this property but the ghost stories about this house are so spooky that no one is willing to buy it although it is a very good property to buy.

Now the story goes like this. Mr. Joseph Woods and his wife Suzanne are spotted often in the property and can be heard by the passerbys. The old caretaker seems however ignorant about this and can be seen living peacefully here. No one knows why the ghosts of Mr and Mrs Woods are spotted even now about 20 years after their death.

There are stories about tenants vacating this house in the middle of the night as they could hear voices of Mr and Mrs Woods to vacate the house as they do not want anybody to stay there. The goods in the house started to fly in the air on its own and fall down. After two to three such incidents no one is willing to live here let alone purchasing it.

Robert, the son of the couple comes here once in a while and stays for two to three days and then goes back to Mumbai where he runs a business.

He has started to believe that somethings do not have any explanation. They should be left as they are. Time alone would tell till how long this would go. He has a son named Peter who is in school and visits here during his holidays. Peter however has a gala time here playing in the huge garden of this property along with his dog Bruno and his parents Robert and Julia. He has no trouble here. And his grandparents,Mr and Mrs Woods seem to watch and be happy seeing their grandchild play in their house!
