The Red Light

I always believed that Mumbai Traffic is the worst. I had to wait for minutes at a red light and sometimes it will go green but my car would still not cross the signal. There is a short duration between green and red called the orange light. Most of the vehicles try to get through in that period of orange light. However, now I miss those days. I wish I could go out in the car and see a lot of people on the signal. I am stuck in this lock down which started 50 days back and I haven't gone out.

Today I saw a video relating to our experience with the animals who are locked forever in the zoo, malls, cage, etc. I have now realized that just being able to go anywhere I want freely is such a blessing. I now know how animals and birds who are locked feel. It is like they are in a car which is stuck at a red light but then there is no possibility of getting a green signal. All the animals who are in zoo right now would be thinking what have they done wrong to end up here. Just like I am thinking why am I locked down for so many days.

If only I could free all the animals and show them the green light.

If only we become human again and stop visiting the zoo so that they are shut automatically.

For as long as there is traffic, they will never see the green light.
