Those Birds on my Terrace🐦

Our school holidays are starting from today.

This morning when I went to the terrace I saw there were many birds picking up the grain . Playing among themselves and looking at me all the birds fly away because of fear. 

On second day I kept grain and water on my roof for all birds and I saw slowly all birds come and eat the grain and drink the water. 

And it went on for long time.

Slowly all the birds become my friends and now she doesn't run away after seeing me but plays with me too. 

And on the day of Makar Sankranti I don't know where all birds had gone. And today those birds didn't even come to eat grain on my terrace. 

And when it was noon, I saw everyone was flying kites on their roof.

And my eyes fell on a bird flying in the sky and I saw that it's wings wrapped around the thread of the kite and she falls the ground and wounded. I bought that bird to my house and took good care of it. 

When I looked into this I found out that hundreds of birds die every year in the month of january because of kite flying in Western Gujarat. 

This year 639 severely wounded birds were rescued, up from 571 last year. 

So at least we should fly kites. I am not saying that we should not fly kites. But the quality of the thread should be good. That could not harm them. Birds inspire us to achieve our freedom of life. We can learn a lot of things by watching birds. Like a bird raising in sky without stopping anyone the same way we achieve our dreams and should fly in sky like a bird.
