Who Has Seen Future?

Who says "Who has seen future?" 

I have seen my future from my father's point of view! This evening, after a day's office fatigue, when I came home and was going towards my room, then I saw my father talking to my mother. He was talking about me. I stopped and started listening.

He says "my son is my shadow". He has complete understanding of the rites and relationships that I have given to him. When I see him today, neither do I remember my earlier days and see his future too. In fact, our son will become a very successful person.

You must remember how much I used to scold him that if you will not study, no one will even ask you. You have to learn the importance of life. We used to stop him from playing and outing with his friends. When all his friends went on a picnic, we used to stop him at home to pay attention to studies. All his friends used to have expensive phones but we didn't give him a phone that he would not be able to study. If I tell you the truth, I feel bad thinking that I am treating him like this, I am not even fulfilling his demands. Somewhere he would think that I am a bad father, I am not fulfilling the duty of being a good father. When I see him today, I feel proud that our son has become an IAS officer. The labour of past is seen bringing colour today. The strictness that we have done, the restrictions imposed and the result of his hard work are in front of us today.

 "I'm proud of my son" & started crying while speaking.

I moved towards my room and started thinking that till now I was thinking that Papa does not love me, he is taking revenge on the strictures that have been done on him. He wanted me to be a good and a successful man and I always misunderstood him.

I cried, cried & cried.

Parents never want our bad, and their love and concern are hidden in their anger and strictness.
