Balance

When I was a small kid,

Sit and study, I was always told.

I wanted to play on the ground,

But this my parents never understood.

All they wanted was rank and gold,

Getting a good job and salary was everything in the world.

I was under pressure to settle down,

I just obeyed as I could not bear the frown.

Whenever I told I am a sportsman,

Everyone asked how much do you earn?

Then I stopped going on the ground,

But my income, the salary was sound.

Finally, I am settled now,

With a good job and home, I took the vow.

But somehow I felt inside hollow,

As my passion, I could not follow.

One fine day, I made a new start,

Going on the ground, I found it's not over yet.

Yes, even now I can play,

Forgetting the world, I can enjoy.

Life is full of opportunities,

Though late, you can fulfill all your wishes.

All we should know is how to balance,

Playing is not at all bad, take a chance.

All work and no play makes Jack dull,

Go ahead, listen to your heart and live life full.

Agree, Education gives you confidence and money,

Sports is a must for a healthy mind in a healthy body.
