Education - A Theft Of The Elite

Days under the tree shades,

Are long gone,

Days with those books,

Are long gone,

Days we spend in our homes,

Are long gone,

What we witness is,

Shuttle service between school and tuition centres,

We witness kinder garden kids,

Walking down the lane,

To tuition centres to learn their alphabets,

We once lived in a society,

Where we learnt concepts at school,

Practised at home,

And excelled in exams,

It is sad to see,

People minting money,

And people spending endless,

On something which is very basic,

Such as education,

It is time to realise,

That success is about our hard work,

And not the time we spend in centres...
