The Dream Girl
The Dream Girl
Back from a day as hectic and bleak,
I quickly slipped into a deep sleep,
And into my cheery world of dreams.
My world was a sunshiny garden,
The colourful blooms, oh how I fancied!
The fruity pops, so very candied.
I could break into a dance,
On a busy walk.
And fly and touch that cloud,
In a not so busy sky.
And sing unmelodiously loud,
Amongst the very busy passers-by.
I could go pluck them
The stars
When I got bored with the mundane!
Or take a ride till the Mars
Sleeeep?
Who would care anyway,
When the dream was real.
Just then,
Heard a sound piercing the air
Shreiikk..guess it was the alarm squeal!
And I think I was back into the actual reality.
