Change

We stand still in utter disbelief,

We feel usurped by any "change" as if it were evil,

We clearly do not see it coming,

Most days, we are not ready for it, no, not yet!

We vehemently oppose the transformation,

We attack it mercilessly, lest it tears our soul apart,

We run away from the forced "change",

"Change" chases us too - like a natural phenomenon!

Should we perhaps give in and accept "change" in life - may be its the only constant!

Or, may be, "was" and "is" could co-exist?

Do we miss out on hints before the "change" confronts us?

Alternately, may be, change is good, sometimes? Time will tell.
