The Fairy Tale Dreams
The Fairy Tale Dreams
Grandma used to tell Fairy Tales
Where prince charming gets the beautiful princess
And life is all bliss and happiness writ at large all around
That’s reel life
Where dream merchants have a field day
Real life
Is vastly different
Harsh realities overshadow fancy dreams
Oasis is a mirage
Desert is the reality
Desert Storm is the most faithful companion
Life is a cruel joke
For teeming millions struggling to find a decent life
Each day brings its quota of ordeal
Life is the biggest Tormentor
Only its agents and faces keep on changing
Life remains painful, all the same
Fairy tale dreams are illusions
It is opiate of the massed passed from generations
To alleviate life’s sufferings, which are for sure and real
