My Superwoman
My Superwoman
My father introduced the world to me,
But who was that,
Who introduced me to the world?
My well-wishers have always pulled me out of darkness,
But who was that,
Who taught me to face the darkness
And spread light all over?
Friends have always shared with me,
Every bit of my joy and sorrow.
But who was that,
Who taught me the true meaning of friendship
And the art of maintaining it?
I thank the Almighty
For giving me this gift
And making me feel complete
For now I know
I have hands to hold
To seek help for doing something I can’t do alone;
I have shoulders to cry on
When tough times break my heart;
I have feet to fall on
When my guilt makes me reluctant to show my face;
And a face to see
When nothing turns out to inspire me
