The King's Ritual
The King's Ritual
My village has a yearly tradition
It's about the throne's succession
You can call it culture
But it doesn't involve the sacrifice of birds like vultures
Every villager must partake in this annual celebration
So, every year we gather
In our village square
I assure you that this ritual is completely fair
However, in the end, the throne has a strong and powerful successor
Compared to its otherwise old yet wise predecessor
So anyways this ritual must be done
Whether it's raining or you can see the sun
Our villagers think that a new leader must be celebrated
And obviously invocated
The coronation of our new king or queen
Is something that everyone in our village has seen
I am sure that after hearing about our rather peculiar tradition
You are very keen
To come to our village to see
Our new leader being welcomed by the young and old
And how we shower him with blessings and coins of gold
So now come one come all
And witness this ritual that is supported by all
