Randomness, Fluke Or Destiny?

What's a line, if not a circle,

Albeit with unending radius?

Binds Infinity in her limits,

Discus thrown becoming gladius?

Strange be the paths of life,

Sharp at times, at times insidious.

Never know when foe turns friend,

Or an ally turns perfidious.

May so happen smiles go teary, 

Beauty come of something hideous.

Mirth mutates into mockery,

Gold transmutes into spurious.

Brew attains the hues of brine,

Easy jobs appear tedious.

Compassion turns into wrath,

Face benign gets scarlet furious.

Prince attains the garb of pauper,

Days reminisced of past glorious.

Battle scars, symbols of virility,

Fester, turn to wounds grievous.

Throw of dice may win a kingdom,

Ways of God are mysterious.

Independent will of Man is,

Earns him rights to act curious.

Chances are devout worshippers,

May commit crimes atrocious.

May we better our futures,

Learning from mistakes previous.

Open hearted be cosmopolitans,

Empty heads are but impervious.
