Parents

I was inside you,

A small part of you.

You nurtured me from inside,

And got me out too!

You held my little fat finger,

And introduced me to this world.

Your smile was fodder to your soul

And your love was the sweetness of my curd.

As I started growing

I was tensed and stressed.

But you made me realize,

That my biggest competition was myself!!

As I became someone important,

I didn't think it incumbent to thank you.

That was the biggest mistakes I had ever committed,

Cauz you parents never ever leave us, no matter what happens to you!
