Victory!!!
Victory!!!
Twang flies the cocksure arrow
That has ever craved for target,
One day he may learn to forgive,
But never a day shall he forget.
Ruby, emerald, pearl, and topaz,
Sapphire and Amethyst Violet,
Once had adorned his person,
Draped ere in silk and velvet.
Scabs, wounds do now bedeck him,
Bloody palms a hue of scarlet,
Now he knows a friend from foe,
A man aloof resembling an islet.
Talks of peace have failed so far,
He has now just thrown the gauntlet.
Until foes give up the ghost,
He shall never kick the bucket.
Gongs of battle have been rung,
Bloody is the war-god's mallet,
Pastures have been dyed with red,
Death the canvas, blood the palette.
Throne of blood, the kingdom of ashes,
Crows are dead, hoots the owlet.
Fruits can bind, actions liberate,
So has said, chauffeur and valet!!!
