He gave us a pristine package

Without any wreckage

A green and blue decoupage

Full of life HE envisaged


Concrete and glass garage

Wiped off the green acreage

The blue expanse vanished from the page

Giving way to volcanic hemorrhage

And molten lava seepage

Glaciers descended their mountain stages

Acid rain withered out the left out foliage


He gave us a pristine package

We decked it up with plastic baggage

Our children got only a wreckage

We doomed ourselves into a cage

No escape from this damage

Earth & Environment Days struggle to salvage.
