Time flies!

Listen to the clock ticking,

It's trying to say something.

Do not waste it when you have it,

Else you will surely regret it.

No matter how strong you are,

Whether you're near or far.

Time and tide wait for none,

Whether you've begun or are just done.

During school hours you tend to lose,

What's your focus and what you need to choose.

In college you hardly get that,

As you are busy with friends and their chit chat.

When you work you run behind it,

And try to fit your life around it.

As you age you learn to respect,

Only then you get the positive effect.

In old age you yearn for more,

With eyes stuck at the door.

Whatever your age you have to care,

Else good luck becomes very rare.

Intelligent are those who respect time,

Whether it's yours or even if it's mine.

Irrespective of what's happening in your life,

Time prefers to move forward and not stand by.

No wonder that everyone says,

Respecting time always pays.
