Don’t Take My Soul Away
Don’t Take My Soul Away
I am sitting alone
Lonely as can be
Against a pillar
Of ruined debris!
Beneath the sky
I lay back still
Darkening clouds
Prompt me something!
My heart is heavy from within
Sorrows engulfed in tiny packets
Weight of which is measured in kg
But difficult for my soul to carry!
My eyes are open still
My soul comes out from within
I try to call it back quick
Suddenly an angel appears with wings!
A halo worn on its head
Is a crown of light rays
With arms open wide she waits
My soul to take away!
