Why do you keep coming back 

To me,

When I lack 

Of everything I pretend to be?

Why do you wanna hold my hand

When you have to show the world,

That you have someone else who'll stand

Without saying word?

Why would you call 

When the game is yours,

And break the wall

To end what was ours?

You started the war, 

Let me end it.

We're not too far,

Neither of us have to quit.

It's not about a song, 

Or a poem.

Where did I go wrong?

We dont have to prove it to them. 

You will remain my favourite poem,

My first and last.

Now it's such a mayhem,

Maybe it is just past.

You will always be the one, 

I write about, sing for and dance along.

Doesn't matter if we lost or won,

We just gotta stay strong. 

Let's not talk,

Rather just wait for a reason, 

To go for a walk,

And praise the season.

And destiny will bring us together, 

If we were meant to be.

There's no always or forever, 

Let's just wait and see.

I won't ask you to trust me,

I'll wait for time

To show what you denied to see,

When you were blind.

What are we even doing?

Why are we doing this?

Where are we going?

When are we gonna find a bliss?

If I tell you, will you listen?

I'm filled with too many words.

Not everytime do I glisten,

Especially when I dont follow the herds.
