Cried a thousand tears

Fought numberless battles

Rejected and broken

I am left abandoned….

Hurt deep down from within

But not ready to give in

Stuck with one pleading

What you said has swiped in me

Killing me softly every inch

How could you do this to me

Let me down in front of my family….

Our parting of ways

Was our own decision

But the one who is suffering

Kept him away from every question

Scared it might take a negative reaction

Till I mould him into correct formation….

Was never interested in alimony

Nor humiliate you in a court proceeding

You forgot your responsibility

Towards your child’s financial stability….

Thought you would change with time
