The Night, Unforgettable...
The Night, Unforgettable...
Staring at the jet black sky,
Dotted with stars up high,
When a magnificent glow of the moonlight,
Kisses the lake in the silvery meadows to make it cheeks flushed bright,
And to say it a good night.
As if the moon stares down at me through heaven,
As though feeling sorry for me
for my loneliness and simplicity.
As if inviting me to its warm lap,
For me to at least to have a good night's nap.
Just when I was staring at the moon,
Suddenly,
There was a dazzling light,
For a moment I thought it was noon!
As if nature was pulling my leg,
But it was very vague.
It was a moment after when I realized a stunningly pretty angel from the moon.
Shining as if she herself were the Sun of the noon,
She said nothing but her smile talked.
She wanted to play and dance with me
Just like a spring breeze, smiled feebly,
I flushed when she held out her hand as a sign of friendship.
Her eyes pointed towards the sky.
When a golden ray blazed in the sky...
I woke up with a jerk,
I could see the first rays of the sun kissing the birdbath outside,
I realized it was a dream
Still a memorable night
