Alone Together

A Knot tied, with crowd and fire as the witness,

The air is filled with music and the scent of flowers,

Lest some one's curse doesn't affect the well-being couples.

They may or may not know each other well,

But they have prepared for the journey with hopes and trust of love.

An oath was taken to share life, with an unknown stranger.

We won't depart from each other at any cost.

Beautiful bond has been tied, with mutual respect and responsibility.

She may not be another mother for him.

He may not be another father for her.

Even the parents took ages to bear you, 

Don't be restless with other words spend time 

In understanding, defend each other as 

You are heading towards we, by retaining your identity.

Don't navigate with the wind of words and emotions.

The qualities will evolve with maturity.

Drive towards a new journey, with qualities of friendship 

Like a nut and bolt, and keep the new roles apart.

Marriage is a blessing, from many hearts,

For the well being of two of them.

If two hearts don't accept each other, 

No point in celebrating the occasion.

Marry when you are ready and not to please someone. 

It will ruin the lives of many, with one single wrong

Decision where you couldn't stand up for you.
