Hope And Dismay

As she rises out of the bed everyday, 

The sun rays shine on her face bright. 

She wakes up happy and starts for the day,

Thinking, she would manage everything alright. 

At her workplace despite her effort, 

She finds herself in a tight spot.

As the day proceeds further,

She loses her hope for better. 

At the end of the day,

She finds herself in dismay. 

Taking her supper she thinks,

Why things didn't work today.

Laying on the bed she sees,

The moon and placid sky. 

She calms down and thinks,

Let's not give up and give another try.

The cycle goes on for eternity.

A new day brings new hope 

With sun rays,

Day end moonlight heals

All pain and dismay.
