Memories
Memories
You're just a memory
Gone are the days of me and you on the field
Working and sowing together, producing good yields
Enjoying the rain
Draining the pain
Soaking the sun
And hunting with guns
Sleeping like elephants
Eating like bears
Enjoying was the only thing we both cared
But one day the winds blew
And a distressful sight the showed
I was scared
But you were prepared
to go
I stopped you
Made you relive the moments we sow
But you were in no sense
To sense my senses
And you went with the wind and the crop produce
And even today, I remain amused
Thinking of what we had
It makes me cry and even more sad
Now the field and I remain dirty
Thinking about our memories
