The Ignorant Half
The Ignorant Half
I am the most integral part
You all live, all the time
Still being snubbed every time.
Nothing proceeds without passing me
The path of victory is always through me
Still, I don't know why people fail to recognize me.
Every time they live in me
They prefer to turn back and see
Failing to enjoy me, when they are in me.
Brooding in the past is hopeless
Once you have hopped in newness
Ruining all that is now, for the past sadness.
Anxious for what has not yet passed through
Is of no gain, when you're still passing me through
For yet I'm not gone, and the futuristic hasn't set in through.
I am the now, which you live most of your time
Still, do not attend to me, all the time
Deliberately giving my share to past or future time.
This habit is ingrained deep down in your soul
That you don't know the taste of lightness
You enjoy living in what is called now.
