What Is Life?

What is life? What does it mean?

When does it get fulfilled has anyone seen?

Quick flies by the happy times?

Or is it just in our head?

Are we even living or are we dead?

Caught up in the cycle of pain?

Or is it gain hidden in this form of pain?

Who are we? Where do we come from?

Who tells us if we are rich or poor?

Is it just wealth and bank accounts?

Or is it what we give that counts?

Why do we go through pain?

Why not happiness all the time?

Trying to be happy shouldn't be a crime.

Why are we so attached to the ones we love?

Why has he made us this way? The one sitting above.

Answers to these questions I need,

My soul is hungry and wants to feed,

On the peace of these answers now,

I will get them in truly vow.
