A Knot Of Sacrifice

Her father is the happiest person,

When she arrived in this world

With her cute smile and innocent look,

She is like running beat of her father's heart

Playing with a doll and having fun all day,

She created her own world in which her parents and doll can stay

With time she grew old,

And her childhood soon detached and converted to adulthood

Now, her life is just like a riddle

She felt like people throwing the stone of norms and discipline but she can't retort back

She discusses this phase with her father,

But!! She receives her father's sigh as a response

Soon she feels herself like a burden to her family,

When she has to go for marriage test with sarees and heavy jewelry

No one wants to ask her likes or dislikes

But!! All around there are tantrums of society, 'girl has grown up, tie up a marriage bond as soon as possible otherwise she can be out of control'

Finally, the day has come,

When her marriage has to arrange

She is feeling pity for herself and thinking her life as DOLL by which she used to play during her childhood

But! No one has any intention or feelings for that doll

There is an air of excitement and joy around her

But there is remorse and guilt in her heart

Then the knot is tied up,

Which consists of many promises and expectations

When marriage over,

'She felt, every girl has to tie a knot of sacrifice with her family and a new knot of fulfilling expectations with another family'

Amid of these two families, her whole life finished but she never gets the name of a single family

Belonging to two families, but having none beside her

It's a knot of sacrifice under which she has to live her whole life
