It was me when I was a child

Thinking of what India is!!

Why people call it India

And why so everyone together!!

Attending the national festivals

Independence Day and Republic day

With full of enthusiasm

Just as I know I will receive sweets

At the end of the program

Little was I, so my thoughts for

But when ever I heard the anthem

I always felt to respect it

With utmost bottom of my heart

This was that seed sowed in me

For my Nation right from my childhood

India is my country and I love it forever
