The Best God

The Hindus fought the Muslims, the Muslims the Christians, the Christians the Sikhs, the Sikhs the so on and so forth. The chain never ended. Men kept dying.

They all met in the soul-land, which is like a rest house for the souls before they vanish forever. There they can see the rewinds of their lives as if watching a movie and they also get the answers that they were seeking in life.

The one question that most souls ask is this, "So, whose God is right?"

"There is no God," the answer floats in the air, "There are just men. They are everything to each other. They can help each other and live happily or kill each other in the self-made illusion of a God or country."

The souls who hear this answer are always embarrassed. They feel like fools who wasted their lives on Earth, the only beautiful thing they ever had. When they were on Earth, they debated about heavens and missed the real heaven that they were in. When they came to the Soul-land, they wanted to vanish from it hoping for a re-birth. They did not realize that there is one life and one Earth. In that, we are our Gods.
