Love In The Celestial World

Ever wondered how the stars shine so heartedly-enchanting? Ever your thoughts crossed the house of questions like is there anyone up in the stars and if yes, do they also love? What does their love feel like? Does it have a heavenly peace like a winter's noon lavished with warm sunlight?

If yes, then here is something that may give you your answers.

Once, somewhere in the universe, there was a city known as 'Toffales Valley' where lived the winged beings of sun dust-the Toffales. They worked day and night to keep the stars alive and make them more scintillating, by collecting the sun dust and gushing it upon the stars.

The city was full of magnificent entities like trees which have blue stars gleaming on them instead of leaves, rivers rolling and flowing splendidly with small galaxies, small stars, dust clouds, comets. Birds with scribbled wings of gold and sparkling orange heads topped with a golden crest, walkways paved with glowing and sparkling big water drops. small, pointed roof chimney homes of the Toffales. There was also a diamond castle for royal Toffales, which shined with all known shades of colours.

Among the Toffales was a girl-angle named melida. She was so beautiful that her beauty captured every heart and eye wherever she goes. She lived with her mother and younger brother. The whole family used to work throughout the whole day, collecting and pouring sun dust upon the stars. Melida had a very keen interest for books and had a room full of books about frogs, comets, blackholes, and other subjects in her small home. Melida had no friends since she was really shy and wasn't frank enough to go to someone and start a conversation. And because she barely ever talked to anyone everyone conceived her as an insolent and ignorant person. But besides her shy nature, Melida was a really courageous girl. She always helped the needy ones and protected other angles from the Terudas of the cascate black hole who performed evil magic practices and occasionally raided the Toffales valley and killed many stars and Toffale angels.

Melida used to spent her evenings feeding and playing with the birds. That was one such evening when love knocked on melida's destiny door. She was feeding the birds when suddenly all the green grasses began to lost in a dark black mist. Melida fleetly standed by flapping her sparkling white wings. She sensed the presence of the Terudas. After sometime, a huge number of Terudas appeared infront of Melida like black windy clouds. This was not the first time Melida was having an encounter with the Terudas but this time they were so huge in number that she could not handle them all by herself. But before they would do anything, someone appeared from behind one of the Teruda and commanded them to stop.

He was also one of them but there was something spellbinding about him. The depth of his green sparkling eyes melted Melida's heart like blazzing fire melts the snow. his aura captured Melida's soul and caged her heart with his fervid desire, the ebony black hair peeking out of his black-red robe were darker than all darknesses combined. "Are you okay young angle"he said, breaking the fantasy of Melida. she could barely uttered a word from her frozen, shivering lips. "My name is Syril, i am the teruda army commander, but don't panic we will not harm you", He said and lended his herculean hand to help her. He gazed into her eyes like he had found the most eternal and divine treasure and faded away like a morning sweet dream being broken by sudden jerk of reality, filling Melida's heart with deep anguish. she got anxious about how she is going to meet him again.

One day, Melida was admitting a sick-old star in the infirmary for sick stars. She helped him in laying down on the bed, took a handful of sun dust from a small bottle kept on a table and rubbed it on him. She was walking out of the infirmary when she heard a fimilar voice from her behind saying"Hey, listen. I forgot to ask your name that day, what is your name young girl?just as Melida turned her head she became really surprised and could feel on cloud 9. Her heart giggled and whispered, "it was Syril". She was feeling too shy to say anything so, she plucked a feather from her wings and with magic wrote her name on it, stucked it into the big sleeve of his robe and flied away smiling with a red-tint shattered all over her face.

Day after day Syril and Melida started meeting each other more often, getting more closer and getting more comfortable with each other. Finally the evening arrived when both confessed their love for each other. that evening Melida and Syril were sitting in a field under the mesmerizing light of the moon and shining stars. Syril touched the hand of Melida and her heart skipped a beat, looking deeply into her eyes Syril whispered "I am in love with you". Melida replied with a smile "I am in love with you more than you are in love with me". Days passed and their bond get stronger than before. Melida was not this much happy in her whole life. Everyday with Syril seemed as if life was thanking her and blessing her.

As usual Melida was in the fields waiting for Syril. She waited for hours but he didn't came. Melida got worried but she calmed herself, thinking that he must be busy in some important work of his iniquitous community, which she absolutely hated. Days passed but Syril didn't came to meet Melida, she cried so much that she nearly became half-dead. Day and night the thoughts of Syril gathered around her like dreadful nightmares.

One night she decided to go to the valley of the cascate black hole to find about Syril. In evening she arrived there and stealed a robe and wore it, so that no one can identify her. She covered her face and asked many Terudas about Syril. After searching for so long one Teruda, told Melida that he was in the prison for commiting the crime of killing his subordinate commander because he didn't followed his order and, both engaged in some arguement. Melida also asked him about where the prison was and hurried towards it without even catching her breath.

She waited till the guards of Syril's cell slept down and entered with all carefulness. She said to Syril to leave the place and that she will come after he will be out of the prison so that no one could notice. Syril was gone and she sat there waiting. after sometime she also tried to escape from the prison but till then the guards were awakened. Melida was caught, and the terudas beated and wounded her more brutally on knowing that she was a toffale angle. she lied on the floor half-dead thinking that Syril will come to free her and maybe his brother will also come as she had told him about everything before coming here.

The next morning her brother came and freed her from there. On her way she saw that Syril was standing in a small hut, talking suspiciously with other terudas about something. She stood behind a poisonous dead tree to listen to their conversation. Standing there Melida burst into tears on knowing that Syril was using her to ran away from the prison so, that he could be restored to his position of the teruda commander, as according to the Terudas law if any prisoner gets succesful in escaping from the prison his punishment for the crime automatically ends. He didn't came back to free her because he doesn't love her and didn't even care about her life he was only using her to gather information about the diamond castle and the book of spells that will give the power to the Terudas to end the life of every single Toffale and the stars. They were planning to attack the Toffales valley.

When Melida reached her home, she went straight to her room and cried a lot. Every single word of Syril shattered and broke her down to the core. She was feeling an unbearing pain in her chest that was ripping her ribs apart, she was feeling like as if her heart was slashed straight from her chest and she was left lifeless with this unexplained pain. But then she remembered about their plan of destruction. She hurried towards the field where all Toffales occasionally gathered for listening to the Royal castle's important announcements and orders. She told the whole case to the Toffales and motivated the Toffales to protect their valley and the stars and to fight against the tyranny of the Terudas with all their courage and braveness.

She stood strong like an arduous mountain and lead the Toffales in the war against the Terudas. The pain of her shattered love and dreams was still in her every single vein and she could feel this pain in her heart with all intensity. But she decided that she will not let this pain broke her down again in pieces. She decided to stay strong and not become weak for a person like Syril who left her alone to die and used her emotions for his own greed and sake. The war ended and Terudas were defeated miserably, but Melida insisted the Toffales to grant them life as they now have learned a good lesson.

She granted life to Syril who was left alone in a life-long prison of guilt. He was in deep agony for betraying a girl like Melida. It was really hard and hurtful for Melida to leave Syril but she also felt a deep peace in her heart because deep down she knew that he was not worth her so pure and divine love.
