"If you try, you may have a failure; But if you don't, you ensure it."

This quote is the ultimate truth of life.

More than becoming depressed about the failure, people are more depressed as they never tried. Some goals are so high, it is even worth to fail.

If you have success, you create a history and if you fail, it's just an experience.

When Edison was asked, What you felt when you failed more than 1000 times to invent the bulb?

The answer he gave went into the history books.

He quoted, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps. Great success is built on failure, frustration, even catastrophe."

Have you ever got into a situation where the failure was worth more than the success? Well, for some scientists from India, it was about to get true.

In one of the defense labs, scientists were working on a new hypersonic missile. The missile could travel 7 MACH ( 7 times speed of sound). Such a missile cannot be intercepted by any anti-missile systems.

A group of young scientists was lead by a very strict and efficient scientist, professor Nag. They put hard work and numerous sleepless nights to complete the project. Finally, the prototype was ready.

They fixed the launch date for the coming week. The success of this launch would put the county in an elite group of nations having this kind of technology.

Professor Nag made an announcement, "Guys, thanks for all the hard work. I am sure that we will have success. We will launch with copybook precision ." This was a rare appreciation from the professor.

When the count down was stated and 48 hours were remaining for the launch. Professor Nag got an unexpected call. This call was from an officer in the intelligence department who was tracking the project.

The officer said, "Professor Nag, there is bad news. One of the lab's computer which contained the designs of our latest missile was stolen yesterday. The culprit was a security guard. We were monitoring his activities in the past few months. He was under observation, but before we could catch him red-handed he managed to leak the information to the enemy. He is in our custody now, we are interrogating him to extract further information. From interrogation, we have got all the information about other spies located in our country. "

On hearing this news, the professor almost fainted. It was like an earthquake happening under his feet.

In a low voice, he asked, "But officer, this project is years of hard work by our engineers and this technology is with the enemy now? ".

Officer replied calmly, "We apologize professor, but now we know all the other spies who are active. We will ensure this will never happen again. Please keep this information to yourself. We want you to act naturally, so that enemy is not altered until we nab all their spies".

Professor was very depressed, but he had no choice. Two days he did not even sleep. Finally, the launch date arrived. Professor did not go to the launch site. The launch was to be done in another hour.

Professor was sitting in isolation in his chamber, away from all interaction and media.

Even his team members did not know why the professor was skipping the most prestigious launch. Their moral was a bit down.

Two hours after the launch time, some of his team members came to his cabin.

"Professor," project lead Ajay hesitantly said.

Professor asked, "Yes what is it?"

Ajay with a sad face said, "Sir there is bad news".

All members looked at the professor's expression with fear.

Ajay with a deep breath said, "The missile launch failed. Computer simulation later revealed we had made big mistakes in the design phase itself. The entire project is just a big failure".

Professor started laughing loudly. People around him thought he had lost his mental balance.

Then in a very calm voice professor said, "we will now redesign it from the scratch, thank God! IT WAS A FAILURE".
