I Wished Her The Rest Of My Life

I put the shovel down after an hour of digging, stains of mud and RED on my shirt. I am enervated. It’s been 6 months since she disappeared into the thin air. I reluctantly miss her each passing day with a thin hope of getting her back which only gets stemmed as I look at an empty seat in the dining. I wished her the rest of my life on her 26th birthday. She forgot her purse while she was going to meet her friends. So I called her to enlighten her. She picked up and all I heard was a loud scream, followed by more disturbing noises.

I dwelled in my research lab to get my equations right for one time. When you play with time you gotta get lucky. It took me 6 months to attain space-time equilibrium. In short, time travel…..

I travelled back in time through my time machine to the date she disappeared so that I can probably save her or at least find out what happened that night. I found my car outside the lab itself when I went back in time. I pushed the mechanic near my car and started to drive to my palace. Over a tricky corner, a teenage girl was crossing the bridge busy talking on the phone. I tried stopping the car but the failed brakes did not help. I ran over her and the car bumped into the bridge. The phone was lying on the ground, I gathered myself and then picked up the blood-stained phone. I heard a familiar voice on the phone. My phone number, saved as DAD flashed. Curiosity ills
