Greed Is Bad

Once upon a time, there used to live a family of crocodiles in a pond full of fishes. There were a papa crocodile, a mama crocodile and the baby crocodile who used to eat fish from the pond but later with time there were no fishes left in the pond and they were unable to feed themself.

but one day the papacrocodile found some mangoes falling into the water and taken them to their family. The mangoes were very sweet and they started feeding on those mangoes. One day the papa crocodile wanted to know who was sending those mangoes in the pond. So he went up the water to see a monkey on a tiny island in the middle of the pond on a mango tree full of mangoes.

The papa crocodile went on the island to thank the monkey but the monkey got frightened and jump on the tree. The papa crocodile told monkey that he was there not to harm him but thank him for providing food to his family by throwing half eaten mangoes in the water. The crocodile promised not to harm the monkey and monkey started throwing a lot more mangoes in the water and they became friends with time. one day the mama crocodile thought that if the monkey eats so many sweet mangoes then he must be having very sweet liver and asked papa monkey to bring him in water for dinner. At first the papa crocodile did not agree but later agreed due to the greed given by the mama crocodile.

The papa crocodile went to the island and told monkey to come with him to his house in the water as his wife was planning a feast to thank him and after feast he will bring the monkey back to the island, the monkey believed on his friend and sat on the back of the papa crocodile and they went in the water. In the middle of the way to home the papa crocodile told the true story to the money and monkey started fearing for hs life, at that moment he got an idea and told the papa crocodile that if he wanted to taste his liver he should have asked as he left his liver on the trees as they were very important to him and he will make his wife angry if he did not bring the liver to her.

Then the papa crocodile and the monkey decided to go back to the island to bring the liver for his wife, but when they reach the island the monkey jumped on the tree and told that he belived on the papa monkey and they were trying to kill him. After that incident, the monkey stopped throwing mangoes in the water and the whole crocodile family died of hunger
