Wonderland with Alice

Alice was sitting at the bank of a river along with her sister who was engrossed reading a book. It was quite sometime since she had been sitting idle and felt drowsy, she tried to peep through the book her sister was reading but it seemed very lethargic so she decided to take a walk along the brick pathway near the river.

After walking for some time her leg got stumbled on a pebble, it was a blue pebble and appeared like the "Wishing pebble" her mom had said. Delighted Alice picked the pebble and made a wish "To make her mundane life colourful" and she threw it away in the river.

A splash! After few seconds Alice could see bubbles in the river, as she went closer she found eddies growing in the river where she had thrown the pebble. In fear, she lost her balance and got slipped in to the river. The eddies started growing bigger and turned to a maelstrom and caught Alice. Before she could scream for help, Alice went round in circles very quickly and deep inside the river until she fell on the hands of a huge octopus snoring.

Alice was amazed how she could breathe in a river. She entangled herself from the hands of the octopus when she saw few fishes flying across! How is this possible? Wondering she walked across to find a way.

After a while, she saw two sunflowers walking across the other end, she couldn't believe how the flowers could move, she followed them secretly and tried to eavesdrop, they were discussing about a Teaparty and Queen Diana. As they moved forward, she could see sparkling lights radiating from the other corner.

After few steps, she came across a beautiful arch bridge, it was a rainbow Bridge from where lights were reflecting. Woww! Such a strange but beautiful world it is Alice thought as she followed the sunflowers.This rainbow bridge connected the waterland portion with the land portion. Alice was so mesmerized with the beauty of the place that she got lost of sunflowers track .

She trolled around the green pastures until her eyes saw a beautiful mansion enclosed in a transparent globe. The mansion appeared like it was made of chocolate bricks and the globe protected it from melting because of sunlight. Alice was very curious and tried looking for a way to enter the mansion. 

She saw a golden basket of oranges lying around and felt tempted to eat them. She looked around to find no one and started eating the oranges. It was the most delicious orange she had ever had! As she savored the fruit, suddenly Alice got shrinked into ant size. Alice got scared and threw away the oranges. The shrubs behind her now seemed like giant leaves. Alice looked apart for some help but nowhere, she felt trapped and lost.She sat down in dismay until she saw a black ant approaching her.The Ant appeared like a threat to the mini Alice.She tried to rush in panic when the Ant spoke, "Dear Alice don't run, I won't harm you, you are my friend, remember you had saved me once when your mom was about to stamp on me".

Alice felt happy and enquired about the place. She told the Ant everything about the eddies how she came here, about the sunflowers and the oranges. Ant pacified Alice and informed they have a tea party with Queen Diana today evening where even she may join but before that drink water from the jug kept in the courtyard to get back to your size. Alice was happy and went along with Ant, she drank the water and was back to her normal height. She held the ant in her lap as he guided her towards the entrance for the mansion.

After sometime they were inside the mansion, Ant greeted Alice to his friends Rabbit who was biting chillies instead of Raddish, Tortoise was flying across the hall to tie the decoration ribbons.The world here is so different but beautiful, Alice thought. She felt tempted to have a bite of this chocolate mansion but felt guarded after the oranges.

It was 12 minutes for six, the tea party table was ready and everyone looked their best.Though it was strange to find mammals and all species in a cloth attire, Alice loved being with them and enjoying this moment.

"Have this welcome Rose milkshake, Alice ", Pineapple entered with its green crown and offered Alice. Pineapple was the Mantri of the land, the special advisor of the Queen.Alice was in all smiles and sipped a few ounces from the glass when everyone started making bell noise in chorus and celebration of Queen Diana entering.

The queen looked gorgeous in a blue essemble as she slowly came downstairs. She wore a golden crown which had blue pebbles engraved similar to the wishing pebble Alice had thrown into the river which led her way to this mysterious bizarre land yet beautiful.

The Queen sat on her throne and invited everyone to the much awaited tea party. The Mantri, Pineapple welcomed Alice in their chamber and offered her a seat. As the butterfly started serving tea to all he exclaimed in shock, "Oh my highness the blue magic pebble from your crown is missing! ".The entire mansion went in dead silence as Queen got furious, she warned the culprit to confess on own else they will be banished from her palace forever.

There was no movement in the palace, Alice could hear her heart throbbing. Mantri, the advisor suggested Queen to check in the globe and see who the culprit was.The tortoise brings the globe to Queen Diana as she starts making some magical gestures and says , " Abra ka Debra, show me who took my magical pebble ".

All eyes are set on the globe to see who dare took Queens pebble from the crown.A light flashes through the globe and it shows a telecast of the pebble laid on the bricks at the riverside and soon Alice picks it up. The queen immediately gets up from the throne, red in furious and orders the mantri to throw Alice in jail. Alice pleads to the Queen and tells her she had thrown back the pebble in water but in vain. The mansion soldiers, white rats drag Alice from the palace towards the jail.

Alice screams for help when suddenly she opens her eyes in a jerk as her sister shakes her up. She had fallen asleep on the brick pathway and got slipped into a dream.

What happened? Why are you screaming for help? And how you felt asleep here? Her sister enquired Alice in surprise.

Alice just looked at the still water and tried getting up when something pricked her palm. She raised her hand to find the blue pebble. She stood up alarmingly as the Queen's words echoed at the sight of the pebble. 

She held her sister's hands and they traveled back home after an adventurous tour from her Wonderland!
