A Life Of Discipline

Mr Anjani Kumar Pandey is an Indian Soldier from my city. He is a real symbol of selfless service to the nation. As the job of a soldier is transferable, he has served in many regions of India, from snow-covered mountains in the north to the extreme summer region of UP. Wherever he worked, his accomplishments recited the glory of this devoted soldier.

A highly disciplined personality, he has trained his children also to be disciplined in all their deeds related to household activities & also classroom performances. His children are also as disciplined as he is. This quality is present in every member of his family. Mr Anjani Kumar Pandey thoroughly believes in nurturing young kids at all levels & that is the reason why his children are multi-talented. Along with their studies, he has made his children perfect in dance, drawing, stage performance & many other extracurricular activities. He always says that if our younger generation is aware of a large number of things, our country will get developed at a fast pace.

In today's uselessly competitive world, where people genuinely do nothing except show off, Mr Anjani Kumar Pandey is a person who is really having a golden heart. Whatever he is from inside, the same he is from outside. As you talk to him, you will come to know that he is just putting his heart out in front of you. He is so humble and polite that even if you meet him first the first time, you don't feel like that. It feels as if he is known you for many years. Now, this is the hallmark of a true human being.

To add to his genius, this person is a drawing artist also who can exactly carve out your face on paper with utmost perfection. Along with that, he is a great singer also. And he is a fantastic cook also. From Indian to Chinese or Western, you just name the food & he will prepare it for you. 

He is a great social reformer also. He always advises his close ones that what is the value of being honest & creative in life. He is very well aware of people's problems in his community & always takes the necessary steps to solve their issues. Whenever anyone among his friends & relatives needs help, he is the first person to extend that helping hand. He is aware of the fact that there are many problems apart from enemy attacks, that the people of our country are facing on daily basis. He always tries to eradicate the problems of his community to whatever extent he can.

Once I said to him," Sir your job is extremely honourable. You are the real hero."

To this, he just smiled & said," No my dear, I am just the son of Mother India. Common people of the country are real heroes. They deal with many problems on daily basis & still keep smiling so that their family members should not become sad. Everytime a common man just thinks about the problems in life & how to prevent his children to be a part of life. Getting children in good schools & great colleges, getting them married to a reputed family, keeping the required amount of money in reserve for a specific occasion, killing their own desires to fulfil all the needs & wants of their children, a common man's sacrifice for his family is worthy of true respect."

I really felt proud after listening to his words. His respect in my eyes grew many folds.

Really a soldier's life is worth living.
