A Shoe Polisher - The King

A couple of days back I met this 74 Years Old Man who does Shoe Polishing Job. The time I noticed him, he was awaiting the customers getting exposed to Sun through his damaged Umbrella... I felt like talking to him and reached to get my shoes polished.. As soon as he sees me, he ran to a side to get a Table stand for me to sit and asked me what I would like him to do for me. I asked him to Polish my Shoes, then he started his job and did all sort of efforts to make me feel that I’m his Premium Customer by asking about my wellness and explained to me about the material he uses on shoes which can keep the Shine stay longer. His Customer Focus made me feel amazed, he has great skills to impress and make the First time Custumer visits him again and again in future too...

Amazing Skills and inspired me a lot... At the age of 74, his commitment towards his Job is so inspiring for people like me and to the most of current younger generations who get tired by just doing 4 to 5 hours of Non-Physical work with a benefit of 2 days weekly Off..... Must learn a lot from people like this Man.... The biggest Twist was, while I enquired about his background, to my Surprise... he is a Well Settled Person who can easily survive the rest of the life even he doesn’t do any Job... He has a nice family who can take care of him, he likes to earn his food though..! This is an Eye Opener for me as I thought I can help him offering some money through Shoe Polish...

Nicely he also made this Statement... “ I can’t sit Idle for a longtime, by watching TV or by wandering on roads without any worth don’t give me any enjoyment, I would rather enjoy doing my Job even in hot Sun.... And One will be happy ajd healthy only when they make their body work with discipline rather than taking more rest. The more rest you give to your body the more it would ask for...” What an inspirational life... He sees great worth in what he does and enjoys it to the maximum... Wow! Great worth Talking to him...
