The Fighter Pilot

I was studying in Army Public School Nahan Himachal Pradesh. All the staff members of that particular school were retired Army personal including the principal, teachers and everyone. Outside my school there was a big ground which was basically Air Force Base. Many a times air shows were organized by Honourable Air Force over there.

Watching the show was a grand ceremony in itself. Air force pilots making their way dynamically ahead, crushing the air-current as if they are saying, "We know how to find our target, doesn't matter how strong the enemy is." 

All the walls of my school were inscribed by the story of the bravery of our great soldiers who have laid down their lives for mother India. As the show was over we rushed to take autograph of our great Air Force officers. Since we were children they gave us enough time, they talked with us alot. We were very happy.

One of the officers asked me ,"what do you want to do after 10th standard, what are your future plans". I said, "I haven't yet decided". He looked at me and smilingly said, "You see when we have to hit terrorist camp, we don't do it instantly. We deeply plan in advance. Firstly we find their location, then we prepare our weapons, plan some strategy, prepare our brave soldiers & then finally we drop missile on them from sky. Sometimes we become targets of unexpected attack also. 

Human life is also like this. If you don't plan in advance, even you don't know where life will take you".

What an answers? That officer gave me the biggest lesson of life. If you are failing to plan, you are planning to fail.
