Charu found herself in front of a white building that looked like a huge whale and peeped through its windows.
The inside looked like a den plus lab with heavy activity going on. Supervisors were dressed in white and workers in blue and going about like zombies, as if they were under the influence of drugs. She could not make out exactly what they were mining but they looked like precious gems.
Through another window she saw the infamous Mafia boss who was in the news, released from the jail a week ago!
She checked her oxygen and went for the surface of the lake. As she ascended she realised that she was on the left bank of the lake, a thought flashed in her mind – may be this is the “opposite of right” which was mentioned in the clue.
Yuvaan and Abhay found her with the help of the rescue team in no time.
On the motor boat with Abhay and Yuvaan, Charu told all that she saw under the lake. All of a sudden, another boat appeared from seemingly nowhere and hit the side where Charu was. A strong hand tried to pull Charu away but she landed a quick punch on the assailant who rolled back in pain and had to let go of her.
Abhay, quick on the uptake, got his team to chase the boat and nab all those in it.
Charu and Yuvaan joined Abhay to see the men lined up for identification. When Charu saw the last man in the line, her jaw dropped. ‘Oh my God! How can you be one of them?’ she exclaimed. Abhay and Yuvaan too were shocked to see him.

Branch 2 (Science fiction)

This base story answers the previous prompt’s question: Where is the sword? (Vincent needs it to open the portal).
Vincent Uncle heard Charu in his dream: “An ‘Eureka’ call for you!” He saw a big hospital; one bed comes near him and Charu is on it. She asked, “Uncle I will sleep in your sleep. Can I?”
Charu superimposed herself on him and started sleeping deeply.
She travelled at very high speed with somebody driving the mode of travel, Charu unsure who it was.
Charu saw ‘SWORD - MV02FK09’ at a cemetery and an inscribed clue. She woke up trembling, but shouting “Eureka, Vincent Uncle. Eureka.”
ln Egypt, Vincent got the same clue in his dream and ordered his assistants to decode it. They figure out that ‘The Ethnic Jungle Monsters’ rob and hide historically popular treasures and monuments. The original sword was with these robbers.
Vincent planned to go to the ‘wormhole entry’ of Amazon’s Forest. From there, he would shadow the gang via The Point of Tigers, The Point of Hell to reach the ‘Monster Bay’ which has the ‘Collection Godown.’ After the gang chants the mantra, Vincent would also chant it, enter the godown and search for the sword. If he does not return within seven days of his departure, his team of Evan, Lista, Inker and Lara will come to rescue him.
Uncle Vincent executed his plan, found the sword and came out of the warehouse (godown).
He is surrounded by killer members of the ‘The Ethnic Jungle Monsters’.
Uncle Vincent knew the procedures of the gang. They will definitely sacrifice him to their Goddess on the seventh day. Uncle Vincent has no other alternative, but to wait for the four Evan, Vista, Inker and Lara!

Charu got sucked by a luminous object in the lake. Yuvaan could not trace her, he returned to the surface.
ln the new place, Charu saw a lot of people, many in multiples.
Charu pleaded that she wants to see the creatures in their actual forms. They turned into random smoky, jelly-like shapes. To the voice in her ahead, Charu asked to take the form of the Museum Executive and it does.
The Museum-Executive-form leader connected Charu to Abhay on the phone and Charu explained her situation. Both Abhay and Yuvaan reached the strange world.
The creatures are Mermitians from the planet Antrina which has two races: the Mermitians, who live in water and the Zygotes, who live on land.
Goddess Athena of the Mermitians had reincarnated as Sheryl Verghese on earth, brought a pound of minerals from her planet and had acquired the divine sword ‘Khopesh’ from Egypt. Using the sword, she had created a divine gateway between Earth and planet Antrina. She had summoned her race members to earth.
After they finished their purpose, Sheryl had wanted to send them back, but the mound which had the gateway collapsed. Sheryl was not aware that she had lost her powers after marriage. And then she died, said the leader.
Sheryl was reborn as Charu, who can help the creatures go back to their planet.
One of the Mermitians transformed into the shape of an extremely beautiful lady. The face reminded Charu of something vaguely familiar in recent times; 'The Abstract painting of the woman on the cover of the book', 'The half-finished idol in the kitchen in UG4'.
