A Blissful Camaraderie

It was our destiny or my fortune,

To meet you one day to meet you soon.

To be spending days together forever,

From morning till the pretty moon.

Then came rushing down my mind a thought, 

Shall I call you a friend or shall I not.

Why not my heart asked,

In this dilemma, I got caught.

Slowly and steadily our friendship will flourish,

I hope I oblige with some moments that you cherish.

With no idea of our future, I will go ahead,

Keeping in mind the time we embellish.

Another one, the special one, yes you my friend,

It's time to begin our friendship and celebrate.

And once again I start to think,

Of things about you that I appreciate.

Today is special yes definitely it is,

For in this dark tunnel you came as a bliss.

I know I can look up to you and so can you,

I hope we live this journey all the way through.

Your easygoing ways mean that I'm blessed with no agony,

With peace and joy and the merrier harmony.
