Choices
Choices
You may have sinned your way to glory, you might have tread a righteous path
Your choices make your story, they haunt in life and its aftermath
Was it my destiny or was it fate,
Love had been lost, winning all that hate
Penance coming too little too late
The reflection in the mirror has changed
The lines on my palm rearranged
Even my shadow feeling estranged
You may have sinned your way to glory, you might have tread a righteous path
You choices make your story, they haunt in life and its aftermath
Conscience challenging me for a fight
I know I have lost , choosing wrong over right
My brightest moments being a haunted night
Will this pain end , even time can’t tell
Heavens now out of reach, this life itself is hell
So why wait for happiness, It had its farewell
I may have sinned my way to glory, sometimes tread a righteous path
I have accepted what they did to my present, I am now scared of the aftermath
